We provide a full range of eye care services to the Redstone Arsenal community. Services include eye exams for patients of all ages as well as treatment of many conditions such as dry eyes or red eyes. We also offer contact lens services.
Our eye exams include checking the eyes for diseases such as glaucoma or cataracts. If surgery is necessary, we work with a number of leading eye surgeons in the area to provide you with the best of care.
If a prescription for glasses or contact lenses is required, Dr. Hardman will hand you a written prescription at the conclusion of the exam. If you would like, we have a full service optical in the same building for your convenience. The optical works closely with us for patient satisfaction but is a separate business. Prescriptions for eye medications can be taken to the pharmacy of your choice.
Do you take my insurance?
We accept Tricare prime as well as many vision plans; we are not a VSP provider. We try to make it as convenient as possible to use your insurance. For example, we will assist in verifying your coverage, file the claim, and follow up on the claim when necessary. Please provide all the insurance ID information when scheduling regarding all insurance plans. Tricare requires the benefits number, sponsor SSN, and patient date of birth for verification. Providing this information while making the appointment allows us to obtain authorization prior to your visit, thus saving you and our staff time on the day of the visit.
